A mindful habit
The value of taking a few moments to concentrate on what is good in your life, what adds to and enriches it, setting your mindset for the day or reflecting in a mindful and conscious way on events, actions and priorities has been proved time and again to cumulatively boost mood, and help with self-understanding and development.
There are four journal designs below, all slightly different from each other - choose which one you think is most appropriate for you currently. It's good practice to use them daily, or as often as possible, for the full positive benefits, although just using them once can boost your mood if you're feeling low. It's also interesting to look back after a month or two and see how different your first and your most recent journals are.
